Roads & Bridges

Council maintains a network of town and rural roads within the Gundagai Shire area. The majority of the maintenance and upgrade work is done by Council's own workforce. Some specialised work such as bridge construction, bitumen sealing and stabilising is done by contract.

We also have 12.4 kilometres of paved footpaths and cycleways.
Each year Council expends in excess of $2.5m in maintenance and construction of roads.
